All the towns are easily accessible with regular flights to major centres within WA and Australia.

Demonstrated Emergency Medicine and General Practice skills as well as sound leadership qualities and team-work are essential for these positions. Post-graduate qualifications in anaesthetics and/or obstetrics, and demonstrated clinical skills in these disciplines, are also essential for the proceduralist DMO positions. An understanding and interest in remote and Indigenous health is very desirable. Applicants must be eligible for registration with the Australian Medical Board.
