Senior Medical Officers (Remote Relievers), Mount Isa Hospital,
Mount Isa Health Service District,
Mt Isa, QLD
Remuneration value up to $334 724 p.a., comprising:
- Salary between $112 977 - $130 491 p.a. (f/t) or salary rates: $54.13 - $65.62 p.h. (p/t),
- Employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%),
- Annual leave loading (17.5%),
- Private use of fully maintained vehicle or fuel card (for part time position),
- Communications package,
- Professional development allowance and 3.6 weeks p.a. leave,
- Professional indemnity cover,
- Locality allowance,
- Inaccessibility incentive paid at completion of each six months service,
- Private practice arrangements plus overtime and on-call allowances.

Duties/Abilities:
- Provide high quality medical services to the Mount Isa Health Service District.
- In collaboration with the Director of Emergency, provide a medical service which promotes the professional development of junior staff,
medical students and non-medical staff which maximises the professional expertise offered to patients.
- Provide relief to medical officers located at Julia Creek Hospital, Cloncurry Hospital, Richmond Hospital, Normanton Hospital, Mornington
Island Hospital and Doomadgee Hospital.
